Excuse me if this is easy and obvious I'm just starting to use jamf to manage my inventory of ipads. They are owned by a school and are loaned out for various jobs, teaching in different departments, exams, conferences ect. Ideally I'd like to hand off the management of this to admin staff but I am not sure how to manage it. All the devices have asset tags and are giving that tag as their name so there is a way to look at the list and quickly see which device is which. So in theory If I setup a smart group for the different functions. Then all the admin staff have to do is add the devices to that group and preferably mark them as out or in stock when they go out and come back in. Preferably selecting multiple at a time for ease, it's usually 10-20 to a location at a time of the 180 we have.
Is that possible?
