We currently manage our macOS devices, but are trying to get mobile device management up and running in Jamf. We're a K12 org. We need to be able to give each school's principal management of the devices in their building so that they can change restrictions as they want when they want without affecting the entire district (on purpose or accidentally).
Sites seems perfect for this, but I can't find a way to automate the assignment of the different sites to iPads as they enroll. I know PreStage enrollments do this, but you can only have one default PreStage and with almost 15,000 iPads, I can't manually assign a PreStage for each iPad.
What I want is to get the AD group membership from the person enrolling and assign a site based on this. Is this possible?
Smart group bulk assignment is a possibility, but is still manual and would have to updated each time a device is wiped and run through setup again.
