assign pre stage ipad to a static group

we use a pre stage config for each ipad we receive...

is there a way to assign right away ipad into pre stage to a static group ? So that when the pre stage is done the ipad gets automatically configs and apps ?

    That's why we're using smart groups...It was such a hassle to re-add iPads to static groups every time they enroled or reenroled into JSS.
