Best way to deal with winmail.dat files

Hi Guys,

Just wondering how you go about dealing with winmail.dat files in Outlook or Apple Mail? We've recently moved over to Office365 and noticing a lot of staff members complaining about winmail.dat attachments

    We used to use http://www.joshjacob.com/mac-development/tnef.php this hasn't seen any updates since 10.11 though...

    You might be better fixing the issue at source. Sending emails in Microsoft Outlook's Rich Text Format is the primary cause of the winmail.dat files. Setting the default messaging format to Plain Text or HTML would resolve the issue going forward.
