Best way to Segregate policies from 'Software Update' payload?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had found any clever ways of segregating policies that come in the 'Software Update' bundle

IIRC, this will run all of the supplemental updates from Apples Software server - my issue is, I would like users to be able to see what these are and run them individually,

i.e. an update for Xcode an update for safari
a supplemental high Sierra bug fix that may require a restart and a 5-10 minute wait

I would like them to be able to pick one of the top two, without having them go through the latter

Have you found any solid way to do this, or am I going about this all wrong?

Maybe beneath script will help you out, you can have multiple available in your self service like - macOS Security updates / App store updates like that.
