I'm having a problem binding machines at a new remote location. I can ping the domain from it, but casper just remotes an error binding to AD. I can't find anything in the logs (system/opendirectoryd) explaining why..
Time/date seems to be correct.

@jwojda Can you be more specific? can you post the opendirectoryd logs?

I typically recommend the following items at least:
- Check DNS - can you do a forward and reverse DNS lookup for the domain?
- Follow Apple's troubleshooting guide for AD: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201885
- Check if you can telnet to the AD port (I can't remember the port, you can look it up in Apple's common ports list)
- trace route can certainly help at times...
- Double check credentials.
- You can enable debug logging for AD binds... https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202242
