I'm about to deploy a new lab and will bind the machines to AD so students can login with their accounts. With faculty and staff we use Nomad Login and Nomad for UnBound account creation and sync.

I'm trying to figure out if there would be any advantage to have Nomad on the lab machines that will be bound?

What is the advantage to binding the lab Macs if you're already using NoLoAD?

I guess the advantage would be to NOT use either Nomad or NoLoAD, since when bound, they can use their AD credentials and password sync is less of an issue.

Are people using NoLoAD as a permanent solution in multiuser environments such as labs?
