Browsers stopped working on the M1 Macs with Big Sur 11.4 and 11.5

There is internet, however it doesn't work when opening web pages. We are able to ping 8.8.8.8 but no internet on safari/chrome/firefox. Tried PRAM reset, update to newer ver and all the basic troubleshooting but no luck.

@idodd Do you have any config profiles that are pushing a Network Filter?  There was an issue previously where after the update traffic was blocked due to the network filter being in a "Starting" state.

Nope.. this is only happening on 3 machines so far with above Big SUR ver.

seeing this on our corporate network with my M1 (other M1s at different offices don't seem to have this issue), neither does my Intel MacBook Pro. no restrictions, or other configurations both have corporate network profiles/certs, connects to SSID but no network access.

so far we narrowed down to Sophos. Looks like some policies blocking on new Big SUR ver.
