casper imaging cannot verify the identity of the server

The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "https://xxxxxxx.xx.com:8443", which could put your confidential information at risk. Would you like to connect to the server anyway ?

This started about a week ago. What could be the root cause for this message ?

Thanks,

If you are using self signed certificates and recently upgraded your JSS, then the certificate most likely changed and is not part of the keychain on the machine running Casper Imaging.

You can view the certificate and add it to Keychain using Safari if you want to.

Thanks for the quick response Steve. I downloaded the Cert from my JSS, proceeded to add it to Keychain (Login), rebooted, but no luck.

@JSOTO, you can also tick the option to allow invalid certificates to bypass the prompt.

Oh & I've a tool that may help in creating NetBoot images, if you're interested: https://jamfnation.jamfsoftware.com/discussion.html?id=11356
