I know this isn't a supported config, but one that will make a big difference to our .org.
We currently use Centrify to handle authentication using smart cards (CAC). Has anyone experimented with Apache to get the Macs to either pass credentials (SSO) or to validate certificates if they are manually exported from the card and imported to the server somehow? I have just barely started researching this, so don't have a solid grasp on options.
I'm currently having to un-enforce my admin account in order to use the JSS or any of the local admin apps, but that is getting me in hot water with the CIO at the moment :) Un-enfocing the account and re-enforcing it every time I need to access the JSS is a bit tedious - anyone tackle this one yet?
