We have one client who didn't want to upgrade their centrally managed solution, so we removed their outdated protection. We then pushed ClamXav to the Macs in the environment, and we push out updates regularly. If they don't sign off on an upgrade, we'll look into getting ClamXav centrally managed (as in pulling updates from a central source).
I'd rather use SAV or MacAfee (ePO) but if you don't have either, ClamXav is certainly worth a look! ClamXav...good stuff!

I've heard sooo much good stuff about Sophos. Unfortunately the client I mentioned is cutting back a lot, so open-source is a viable option (as long as we can support them).
I did contact Sophos about pricing, I had a bit of sticker shock during the call. :)

How much are you guys paying per seat? I assume The vendor supplied
installer works fine, or did you guys have to create a new one?
PS, Craig, thanks for having a sense if humor! :)
