Can anyone offer a tip on how to get my ARD package to keep the serial # information? I deploy this package to my team members/mac admins, and they'd have to enter the serial # when they launch it for the first time. I tried both snapshot method and pre-installed software. Got the same result with both ways.
Thanks much!

I believe each open instance of Remote Desktop, on a given network, has to
have an unique serial number. So, I believe, packaging the serial number
would not be a good idea.

I'm pretty sure that Apple encrypts the serial with the computer hardware (UUID?) somehow. If you install ARD but then put that computer into Target mode and boot another off of it's drive, you also get the Serial # request.
I think you'll just have to deal with having to provide the serial # to your techs as you deploy ARD.

Hi-
If you serialize ARD as and admin, then it does not ask again. If you serialize as a Standard User, it will ask for the serial each time.
