Computer Name in Inventory Problem

I am having a problem in my JAMF inventory, we are using version 8.22. I
have 8 computers who are showing "No Name" for the Computer Name in my
inventory list. At one time all computers showed their proper name, this
started at the end of school last year. First there were 3 doing this, then
5 now 8. When I go in to computer details in JAMF to change the name back to
what it should be then click on Save, I just get the spinning arrows with
the message "Saving computer information changes". It is not accepting the
changes like it did at the end of school last year. I thought at first the
students were changing the names of the computers; however, after a random
inspection, the physical computers show the proper name. Anyone having this
same problem?

Run a recon on the affected machines should clear it up.

We're having this problem as well, and we're running v8.43. Half a dozen machines at any given time seem to have no inventory name and we have to go recon them again. This is an annoying inventory bug that I hope is fixed in v8.5.
