I have a school with 1000+ laptops managed by Casper. We are finding that on machines running 10.8 we are seeing that config profiles are being deployed to the client laptops, but the effects of the restrictions are not always visible in the client.
To fix this at the moment, we are asking students to return the laptops and we reinstall the quickadd package and most of the time it works. Problem is that students don't want the restrictions, and so are not coming back to get the issue resolved.
Is there a reason why the profiles are not applying even though they are being installed correctly by Casper?

+5I had a similar issue that was resolved by opening a shell session on the machines and running
sudo jamf enroll
sudo jamf manage
The settings I wanted pushed out would show up a few seconds after running these commands. Have you tried that, or are you able to shell to these machines?
