I want to use an OS X configuration profile to set a login item to run an application. A LaunchAgent proved less reliable than I had hoped. When I created the profile, the application in question wasn't in the list, nor seemingly anything but base OS X software. Running the application on the JSS didn't add it to the list. When I tried downloading, manually editing, and reuploading the profile it simply omitted the application. Anybody out there have better luck?
