I have a few machines that won't remove config profiles when removed from scope. In the management tab commands show pending. MDM says running or not available on the client (hugely helpful). Renewing the MDM stays at pending. Logs just show command sent.

+12I'm having this issue as well. Command to remove the profile is there but it's just pending.
We are having the same issue. Through support, the conclusion we came to was a device wipe and re-enrollment as we have the old set as unremovable.
+1That is what I ended up doing. Not ideal as it takes a long time but it works in the end. Would be nice if this got fixed!
