Hi there!

Wondering what those in healthcare may be doing for configuring Epic Welcome on iPads in JAMF. Looks like each device will need a unique VPP config for Welcome - would I really need to create unique Epic Welcome's for each device? We intending to have a few hundred of these things!

Epic has developed the Welcome app to use managed app config. You would only need to configure the app once. If you have access to Epic resources they can get you the configuration.

Agree with @TPANTALE. Were an Epic Welcome shop on iPads. Also using APPMANGEDCONFIG to deploy to all PROD. I will say we also use a separate copy of the app that uses a TST config from our InterConnect servers for testing iPads.

Hey all - we seem to be having issues with our appconfig not passing the correct Target URL. Each time we launch the app, it says "Invalid Target URL", however if we navigate to that link in Safari, it loads just fine. Is there a way to troubleshoot what is happening?

For a status update; we ended up 1. Creating an App version for each Welcome environment 2. Each app config used pointed to unique environment URL.
3. We couldn't use the wildcards in our Certificate URL, so we went with the decision to deploy a single cert for all welcome devices. Not ideal, but couldn't get wildcards in Certificate URL to work to point to unique cert for each device.
