Hello,
Please, I wanted to know if any of you has already had this issue that we are encountering.
When we update our MacBook Pro from Catalina to Big Sur (11.4), after updating the system, we are unable to restart or shut down the system.
Whenever we try to shut down or restart the system, the system freezes.
The problem occurs whether you are in an open session or in the login window.
When we are on the login window, if we try to restart or shut down the system, the login window does a kind of 3D rotation on itself and returns to the authentication window.
We have tried to clear the different caches, the '/var/folders' folder, repair the disk, boot on safe mode, SMC, reset PRAM ... without success.
This problem does not occur on a freshly installed Big Sur system. Only on MBP computers that have been upgraded from Catalina to Big Sur.
If you have any ideas, we are interested.
Thank you for your help
