Creating a New category in Self Service

Hello Jamf Nation,

Is there a way to create a new category in self service? So besides the default name what if i wanted to name one "Tools"? How would I go about this?

Computer Management > Categories > + New
Add away.

To add to that, once you have your new category or categories set up, when creating the Self Service policy, be sure to assign the policy to one of the new categories, or it won't appear in Self Service. Self Service only shows categories that have something in them, not blank ones.

Post 9.5 Categories can be found in Settings -> Global Management Framework->Categories since you can now apply categories to Policies, Configuration Profiles, Scripts, eBooks and App Store Apps.
