Creating an updated never booted OSX dmg using AutoDMG

Hello Friends,

I want to create a never booted OS X 10.9.5 DMG using AutoDMG. But unfortunately i am unable to find 10.9.5 installer. When i try to use the 10.9.2 installer the AutoDMG says installer deprecated by 10.9.5.
Our current requirement is to have 10.9.5 OS X while we image any new mac. Currently we have never bootedDMG for 10.9.2 in the configuration. Please suggest how can i proceed further on this, would adding a combo updated in the configuration help to keep the OS X updated and how do we update the recovery partition or if someone can point me to the link for 10.9.5 installer. PS.We don't want to install Yosemite as there are compatibility issues with our antivirus & VPN solutions.

    I haven't tried it with 10.9 but InstaDMG might still work: https://code.google.com/p/instadmg/

    When you download the Mavericks installer from the App Store the latest version at the time will download.

    So, if you're downloading it now it will download a 10.9.5 installer

    the Apple Store doesn't gives me option to download 10.9.5 it gives only option for Yosemite.. is there a way that i can get the 10.9.5 installer

    If you never downloaded a version of the 10.9 OS under your Apple ID, then no, you won't see it.

    I download every version that comes out so I have a current base OS (run through AutoDMG). In fact I had to download 10.9.5 again yesterday. And, interestingly enough, under my Purchases, I still see Lion and Mt. Lion available.

    Did anyone in your org. download 10.9, ever. See if they can get it for you.

    If you sign up for the Apple Developer program then you can download the older OSes. The Apple Dev website has older OSes there, and when you "download" them what it does is give the apple ID associated with the Dev program the ability to download them through the Mac App Store....I did this recently with 10.8.5.

    Thanks for the response I will check if we have option for Apple Developer Program.
    Coming to the second question "Please suggest how can I update my mac image, would adding a combo updated in the configuration help to keep the OS X updated and what would happen to recovery partition" I would like to understand if I add the OSX update 10.9.5 to the existing image with 10.9.3 just like adding another application would it also update the recovery automatically or the only way out is to add a new neverbooted DMG along with recovery dmg

    @sumit.batra, since Apple moved to deploying OSX installers via apps.. We have always used the latest version of the OS's Installer App from Apple.

    So I'd not use Combo Updaters.

    @sumit.batra Yes, if your base image is 10.9.3 you can add the 10.9.5 combo updater to your imaging config. (I think the updater has to run at first boot though).

    I do this all the time when OS updates come out, until I get around to creating a new base OS dmg.
