Try uploading the office pkg via the web browser instead of Jamf Admin.

I use the browser and log onto the Jamf Pro Dashboard I am not familiar with Jamf Admin.

Unless you need a specific version, you can use Microsoft's own script to curl and install the latest version.  I modified theirs to take out functions I don't need.

Daneil,

Will this affect the upload? I need to deploy the full version. Uploading is my main concern. Hard to believe they are having a such difficult time resolving this!

There is no upload.  The JAMF Agent runs the script locally on the computer, which downloads and installs Office directly from Microsoft.

So I deploy the script from JAMF and it completes the install? Do you have any documentation/links on to set this up?

Test the script locally on a computer and make sure it works for you, customizing it if needed.  Save the script in JAMF, in Settings, Computer Management, Scripts.  https://docs.jamf.com/10.42.0/jamf-pro/documentation/Scripts.html?hl=scripts%2Cjamf%2Cpro%2Cdocument...

Then in your Office Policy, you run the script instead of deploying an office package.

https://docs.jamf.com/10.42.0/jamf-pro/documentation/Policy_Payload_Reference.html

This ultimately saves both the time of uploading a 6GB package and storage of saving the package on your distribution point.

Thanks. I will try this later today!

Usually just download the packages from here: https://macadmins.software/

Upload to Jamf admin. Push.

https://macadmins.software/ is another great resource if you need official Office for Mac installers. It looks barebones but it's run and updated by the Office for Mac team at Microsoft, and they provide other resources including a calendar for releases, fixes, configuration settings and more.

I tried the download macadmins. It was promoted in one of the JAMF videos.

I use this script from William Smith. One script and use different ID for each Office app. It will always download the latest version.

Another great option is Installomator, I use this for 99% of app deployments these days https://github.com/Installomator/Installomator/wiki/MDM:-Jamf-Pro
