Is it for authenticate as an Admin to install the "status indicators to icons in the Finder"?
If yes, you have to include the "Google Drive Icon Helper" file in /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools in your package.
Thanks

I am having issues with this as well. The first time I used Composer to create a DMG with Google Drive it worked as described above, and I was prompted for a password. I have redone the Composer capture and all looks well in Composer prior to creating the DMG, it has the Google Drive Helper Icon file in the right spot. BUT now when I push the package out it doesn't install anything.... user clicks on the package, and the progress bar zips through and it's logged as a successful install, but even the app doesn't get installed. I'm lost on this one... Any help or whitepapers would be great.
Thanks!

It shows a success.

I did a normal snapshot ( before, then installed the app, snapshot after), then dropped the /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools in, made a dmg.
