Previously, setting the mcx-expose-disabled key from the com.apple.dock.plist (as below) would disable Mission Control.

defaults write com.apple.dock mcx-expose-disabled -bool TRUE

This doesn’t seem to be working on Big Sur. Does anyone know if it is now covered by a different key/plist? Keys to disable shortcuts for Mission Control still seem to work.

Hi,

What's your use-case please? Why are you trying to disable Mission Control exactly?

Might have a solution for you...

Hi there (belatedly),

This was to avoid users accessing Mission Control (and then the Mac in general) during initial deployment whilst the screen was locked.
