We install Office 2016 with a volume license serial number. When I push out packages (from https://macadmins.software), everything works fine and the suite is serialized correctly.

When a user opens OneNote and creates an account, then signs in, Office 2016 asks for a serial number and won't open any longer. It appears as if it's Office 365 and wants users to sign in.

Has anyone seen this behavior? To fix this, I have to completely uninstall Office 2016 and re-install to get the serial license to work again. Users then don't sign into OneNote, but would still like to use it.
