Hello,

I recently found the "Allow software update notifications" configuration profile payload under Restrictions > Applications. If I leave this unchecked, does this disable macOS software update notifications?

Same. It would be great if there was a way to remove that in Jamf.

Disabling the option to automatically check for updates in Software Updates should suppress the notifications. You would then need to run a policy to check and install updates.

Does anyone know how to force this notification to come up for testing purposes? For example, is there a process that manages these that I can terminate then reload which would cause it to reappear? I've come to realize that if I create configuration profile that are supposed to suppress these notifications, I have no way to really test them without a way to actual force them to appear.
