We can pull VMware Fusion serial number.

Is there a way to identify whether it is installed with a VMware Fusion Pro license?

Will circle back to update thread if we come up with something.

Seems like a good thing to ask your friendly neighborhood VMware rep... I'll try to ask mine when I get the semi-annual email, usually around the time my licenses are up for renewal. Hopefully there's a real simple differentiator!

Don't use VMware but if they use XML files like Parallels you can probably adopt something like this
