Google Backup & Sync Issues?

Hey all,
Anyone else seeing issues with google backup and sync causing high cpu usage or (bigger issue) losing files/deleting files either locally or on the cloud randomly?

    I misread the google article, google drive is being replaced by backup and sync or file stream.

    Backup and Sync is not being dropped. The old Google Drive for Mac/PC is being dropped and is replaced with either Backup and Sync or Drive File Stream. We are switching to File Stream so I can't help with the backup and sync issues.
