hdiutil error

Hi,

I am getting a hdiutil error until 10.5.2. I can make a dmg from disk utility. I have rebuilt the permissions and reinstalled the 10.5.2 combo updater. Any ideas as to what causes this?

No, but the work around is to start in safe mode. you will be able to build
then from the prebuilt tab, or at least I have been able to.....

Hi John,

Thanks for the reply. In the end I found the problem. The temp folder was read only at the root level. I deleted the temp folder and the next one it made was read write all the way through.

What was weird, was, I was the admin. I had rights according to the finder. If I dragged a file to the folder I had to authenticate.
