High sierra unable to unmount?

Anyone else having issues where high sierra won't unmount external drives? DMG or smb/afp share? I can open disk utility and it won't show the drives there but they'll still be on my desktop and unable to unmount. I.E. My casper share will still be mounted so when I run casper admin it won't let me work with the share because it's already mounted, but can't be unmounted without a restart.

Yes, problems with external drives, USB sticks. Force Eject is almost always required on AFPS drives. It's a bug.

No issues here on a clean install of macOS 10.13, High Sierra. I successfully mounted and unmounted:
- an SMB share point
- an external Thunderbolt SSD
- launch CasperAdmin which mounted the distribution point, and quit which unmounted it
