How Many iMacs at once?

Good day all,

I've got about 750 iMacs that I'll be configuring for the first time this summer under JAMF (in the cloud).

Given a (mostly) 100GB network, and a simple software load (MS Office), how many machines might I process at once?

I know, I know, there's a lot of uncertainty in all that, but a rough estimate might be... ?

Setup a Mac mini as a caching server and to be a local DP on your subnet I’m rebuilding (over a really busy 1Gb network with fresh OS with every O365 app, AV etc) in around 15 mins
When off premises, on a 100Gb fibre isp connection to a old Apple Time Capsule I’m seeing the same deployment take 1hr

Are you wiping the machines and enrolling them through a DEP process?

Definitely set an additional File Share Distribution Point. I also second utilizing a catching server when possible.

Should add the limiting factor is the DP bandwidth.
10 devices at once drops the 1Gb to 100Gb for each devices and increases overall time
