By default, how often does each machine recon it's IP back to the JSS?

It usually reports back at whatever interval you have set or if you have policy that does a recon after it completes. e.g. every 15, every 30

@talkingmoose Is this just reporting IP, or is it doing full recon? The reason I ask, we had a few policies set up with "Update Inventory" which caused an uproar as users were calling Help Desk about their computers taking forever to log off (or reboot). :)

I believe IP only.

A check in should update the IP, the JAMF binary version, and the last check in time. Then A full inventory report should be once a day, once a week, once a month, etc.
