How to get my documents from a computer with filevault and we don't have the password or the key

I have a school laptop and a teacher turned filevault on and forgot the password, there is no file with the key and they did not send it to icloud. Is there a way to get around filevault and get the documents?

    Nop. If there was a way around that would destroy the whole purpose of FileVault. By activating FileVault your teacher got a one way ticket.

    moving forward though, you can/should configure casper to capture the FV recovery key and store it in the JSS database when users do it again
