To all, I am new to Jamf, I just became a Certified Jamf Associate. I am trying to learn how to take the Monterey installer file and make it into a package to create a policy for deployment. Any help would be great and thank you in advance.

Download monterey on a machine (do not install). Use jamf composer to make a dmg file to upload to jamf (PKG wont work). You can to this but there are other better scripted methods out there which allow the machines to directly download the update from apple servers. If you search the the first few pages under jamf pro on here you will find some (its less likley to time out on a 12gb file)

Instead of packaging them, you can obtain a signed package from Apple. You can use this link which Mr. Macintosh put together. You can also get them by yourself via SUS Inspector
