Since attending the JUNC, I was wondering if anyone knew how IBM was able to have user's log-in with network account credentials and create the first account after the DEP notification?

+16I thought IBM was using local accounts .. but there shouldn't be a difference.. hunt for the IBM thread there is a link there for a similar app.

+24They are using local accounts, not network or AD/LDAP ones. Kind of par for the course when using DEP really. You could always craft a custom solution perhaps, but right now DEP assumes its creating a local account for the user setting up the Mac.
