This question has been asked a few times in the years past but we've never had a solid answer. What does this do? I know what its supposed to do in theory but it never does it. I have the profile applied and according to the Apple Documents you can use a few options such as %fullname% or %shortname% to apply the necessary info for zero-touch setup, however, I have it all setup and all I see is a Configuration Profile installed and nothing else. No prompt appeared asking for the password or providing the user information. Am I doing something wrong, is this deprecated with High Sierra, or is this just another vaporware profile?
