In the past when imaging Snow Leopard, we ran a series of Terminal commands to regenerate the LKDC. Mountain Lion had a similar process. Looking to see if this is still necessary for Mavericks and if so where is the documentation.

+5If you create an image using the InstallESD and AutoDMG then this is not a problem as the image you create will never have been booted on a machine.
If you are still imaging using a monolithic golden master way of doing things. Then stop, and go down the modular path of enlightenment :)
