As a school district we are prepping to get our new images ready for the summer time. We recently have been noticing inconsistent Netboot imaging with Casper Imaging. We upgraded our server to Mavericks back in April and that seems to be about the time we noticed this issue. When imaging with Netboot we are noticing a lot of packages not installing. Which package is not installed has not been consistent. I have been testing like crazy to see if I can narrow my workflow down and find some sort of pattern or problem package, but no luck.
Netboot image is 10.8.4 from a Macbook Air 2013 (Created during our Jump Start last summer and has been working great). Machines being imaged are Macbook Air 2013 as well.
JSS and Casper Imaging are at 9.32.
Our full workflow contains about 26 items which includes OS 10.9.3, Chrome, Fix, Office 2011, Flash, Java, etc.
Doing target imaging via thunderbolt or through an external hard drive has worked fine with the same workflow and has been consistent.
