Running Casper 7.31 with mostly Mac OS X 10.6 machines...
A few weeks ago I created a smart group in the JSS to list all Macs where
Extensis Suitcase Fusion v3 was not up to version 14.0.5. Most were at
version 14.0.4.
I then created a policy to automatically update these machines to 14.0.5
at next login and update inventory. This worked very well. My list of
machines dwindled to about 10.
However, when I use a policy to run a weekly inventory many of these
machines are getting put back into my smart group. If I manually inventory
the machines they are removed from the smart group.
A spot check of these machines shows they are indeed at version 14.0.5.
Does anyone have any ideas why my smart group is flip flopping back and
forth?
