Question

iOS - Configuring Chrome and Firefox - Possible?

Forum|alt.badge.img+12

Since we cannot configure the default browser in iOS as anything other than Safari, is there a way to configure Google Chrome or Firefox? At least the default homepage?

@mhegge I have had some success with using a configuration profile for Google Chrome.

Controlling Chrome Updates has been hit and miss.

Chrome used to be configurable on iOS before it switched to WebKit.

The page above was last edited in 2014 so I think you're outta luck :( . We have plist style configuration (i.e. App Configuration tab) but I'm assuming Google doesn't want to do that due to the time span they've had to get it working.
