IOS content filter plugin

We are in the process of going to a cloud-based Relay content filter and are looking to use there IOS Plugin for filtering. To my knowledge, it always needs to be running to make sure it gets the latest policy. Is there any way to force the app to start at least once a day?

If your iPads are on iOS 12 (which they should be since Relay requires 11.2 minimum anyway), you don't have to worry about running the app. Even if you're on 11.2 I'm pretty sure you only have to open it once after it is installed, not once per day.

Note: You do not have to launch the app if you are running iOS 12+, however, iOS 11 users may need to launch the app once (in single-app mode).

The note is the first gray line below iOS Devices in this link.
