While I was *dreaming* for a much geekier device I knew Apple wasn't going
to give it to me. I wanted a USB port - both for memory sticks and for use
as a mini display like you can get at ThinkGeek- , some file management
capability, mini-displayport, and an SD card slot, and an ethernet adaptor
(for wireshark, nmap, tcpdump etc.).
I think we should all feedback at:
http://www.apple.com/feedback/remotedesktop.html
for Apple to make ARD available on this thing. It would be amazing, running
around managing machines would be fun :) Also, Server Admin tools and things
like the Server Monitor widgets would be very useful too. So while I don't
get my ultimate IT swiss army knife with ethernet etc. in a sexy Apple case
it at least becomes more useful from an IT perspective.
