Is There a Way to Add Apple Calculator to iPads?

I can find the Apple calculator app using New in the Mobile Device Apps.

When added it shows Content not available to assign to mobile devices under Managed Distribution.

Also, I am unable to find it when searching in Apps and Books in Apple School Manager.

I assume these apps are NOT device assignable.  If that is correct then how do you get them onto a device?

This only happens with Apple apps.  I have no issues with any 3rd party apps.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Yes. Install iPad OS 18. And it’s a default app

Appreciate the info.  Unfortunately updating iPadOS is not feasible as some iPads are older and don't support 18.

Are you saying that is the ONLY way to get Apple apps installed?

Like I mentioned I don't see them in Apple School Manager for what I assume is the fact that they are NOT device assignable.

Not sure what I am missing here.

the only way to get this app from apple is to install iPadOS 18, it is not available in earlier versions.

Understood.

I will simply find an alternative.  I see there are many other calculator apps.

Thanks for the info.  Much appreciated.

Once iOS 18 is out of beta, Apple should have apps you can remove in the store so you can allow users to add them back,
