I am imaging computers with Casper using a pre-configured image of 10.10 containing all the base free software we use across our campus. Once the block copy is complete it begins executing policies to install additional software and settings but the helper screen never appears. I can look at the jamf.log and see that the policies are executing and if I manually restart the computer once they are complete it works normally. My question is if anyone has an idea of why the helper screen never appears and the final restart never occurs. Using the same build script on the base 10.10 operating system works normally.

The helper screen only appears if you have casper imaging set to install pacakges on boot volume. If you're installing packages through custom triggers - you won't get the splash screen.

If you want the to call the imaging splash screen by some other means, this is the command:
/usr/sbin/jamf launchJAMFHelper -path '/Library/Application Support/JAMF/bin/jamfHelper.app'
