Hi all,
I'm trying to build a bootable USB (.dmg) file that our support teams can download to create their own bootable USB keys for imaging work.
What I'm trying to achieve is for our support people to be able to boot any Apple Mac from a USB key, and the only dialog that they can expect before the Jamf Imaging work window appears is the login into the JSS.
Instead, what I've got currently is very unpredictable behaviour of Jamf Imaging throwing various dialog boxes for different situations. The three most common dialogs that I've seen so far are:
- Jamf Imaging cannot verify the identity of the server at ...
- There is a problem with the Autorun data or PreStage settings for this computer
- Jamf Imaging wants to make changes
I just wanted to ask this forum, has anyone else dealt with these issues and managed to get Jamf Imaging to execute in a more consistent manner? I don't recall all these dialog boxes showing up in older versions of Casper Imaging.
Any advice or suggestions would be most appreciated.
Cheers,
Ron.

Hi Dennis,
Does your restorable DMG contain the Jamf Imaging application?

Ron.

Yes it does. When you use AutoCasperNBI it will put it in.
