Jamf Intune integration

I need to get my macs enrolled in intune to avoid some nasty end-user experience with MFA.

I've followed the guidance here: https://docs.jamf.com/technical-papers/jamf-pro/microsoft-intune/10.17.0/Introduction.html and have integrated successfully.

I've followed all the steps outlined but upon registering the Mac through the Company portal app, it throws up an error saying: AccountNotOnboarded

Do I need to create an MDM profile within Intune to apply to the Macs as well?

Anything else people are doing in Intune beyond the steps outlined in the guide?

Did you create a Policy with the "macOS Intune Integration" payload and run that policy on the computer? You can't just launch Company Portal and login in. You have to use Intune policy. It will launch Company Portal for you as well as register the computer with Intune.

No MDM profile in Intune is needed, nor would it work.
