The layoffs should start in about two years when they are scrambling to cut costs and keep posting the growth numbers the VCs demand. Common story in Silicon Valley. I very much hope I’m wrong and that JAMF will put the money into engineering.

I could be wrong, Vista Equity Partners doesn't look like a "common silicon valley" VC. I didn't double check but it looked like most of their companies are not in silicon valley and were successful when Vista bought in.

They need to keep the helpful company culture. Jamf has a great product, but the biggest magic is their people, specifically their support reps.
