Hi all,
Recently i upgraded my JSS and JDS to 9.64.
According to the release notes issue 'D-005796' should be fixed.
But still i can't image from my JDS instance, we get the following error;
--
There was an error.
Could not find an existing configuration to modify
--
In this discussion people struggle with the same problem, https://jamfnation.jamfsoftware.com/discussion.html?id=9144
Assuming that 'jwojda' is right, the cause should be 'D-005796'.
I can't find more useful logs on the client.
On the server side (an Ubuntu box) i've investigated dmesg, syslog and my jamf.log, but no useful info found so far.
Can anyone give me a push in the right direction?

@icejoran, the "fix" is the AFP/SMB share.

Even with 9.64, that's still needed.

Wait for JDS 2.0...seriously. Imaging is all over the place and there are still a lot of bugs with it. My favorite issue is when it fails to block copy and does a file-by-file copy instead.

@bentoms][/url, many thanks! I already found some hints that were pointing out the need of 'createDP.py' on my JDS i can not find it anywhere. Should i download that script from an additional source?
update: found it on github :) it's from a user named jamf, should be legit
