JDS Server 9.96/Sierra/Sever 5.2 Errors

So I made the mistake of updating a few of my JDS's to Sierra and the new version of the JDS binary and now none of the updated servers will replicate from the master distribution point or from the Root JDS.

I've exhausted all existing Jamfnation fixes for JDS so now here I am.

Just curious if anyone else is in the same boat and if you if a solution has been found.

Thanks for reading.

I am having a similar issue. Just upgraded a group of JDS' from 10.10.5/9.82 to 10.12.1/9.96. Most of them are working okay but some no longer serving packages. They replicated from the master okay but do not serve clients, trying to download a package using the URL fails. I was able to revive a couple by removing the Server.app and deleting the /Library/Server folder, then reinstalling/configuring Server and JDS. Now there's a stubborn few that will not work what so ever. Just tried the 10.12.2 update and even reinstalling macOS over top, no luck at all. The only way to get it going is to wipe the hard drive and start again. I'd rather not do this to save bandwidth/time syncing the packages again. Any other fixes out there?

Reviving this thread....

Trying to get a JDS running on 10.12.5, Server 5.3.1, JDS 9.99. This is a fresh install of Sierra and fresh Server. The JDS installer completes and the JDS registers in the JPS, but when we try to open Casper Admin and replicate (this JPS has an AWS Cloud Distro as Master), Casper Admin errors out stating it cannot mount the share. The error we get in the "Casper Admin Sync Log.log" file is:

-- Replicating to distribution point https://jds.domain.com/CasperShareDAV 2017-07-10 6:04 PM --
2017-07-10 18:04:23: Comparing files based on size

2017-07-10 18:04:27: ERROR: The distribution point could not be mounted. The replication operation will stop
2017-07-10 18:04:27: Finished.
-- Unmounting https://jds.domain.com/CasperShareDAV 2017-07-10 6:04 PM --

If I check system.log I see the following errors repeated:

Jul 10 18:06:49 SERVERNAME com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.serviceproxy): Service only ran for 0 seconds. Pushing respawn out by 10 seconds.
Jul 10 18:06:59 SERVERNAME com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.serviceproxy[4615]): Service exited with abnormal code: 1
Jul 10 18:06:59 SERVERNAME com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.serviceproxy): Service only ran for 0 seconds. Pushing respawn out by 10 seconds.
Jul 10 18:07:09 SERVERNAME com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.serviceproxy[4667]): Service exited with abnormal code: 1

I have an open ticket with support, but figured I would throw it out here in case anyone has seen this before. I have removed the server app and /Library/Server, and then let it rebuild, but that did nothing.

Any ideas?
