Hi Don,

We removed this article, along with the article on creating NetBoot images using System Image Utility. We've replaced them with this article:

This one should be more up-to-date and less confusing. We would've just kept the same article ID, but it got a little complicated since we combined two existing articles.

I spoke too soon...article 307 is missing the steps for making Minimal Base OS Images. I have the old one printed out, but wasn't sure if there were any changes now that Mountain Lion is out.

There's a section in the Casper Suite Administrator's Guide called "Building OS Packages" that should do the trick for that. Nothing has changed for Mountain Lion.

I think KB article 63 was a whole lot better than the steps in the PDF...but it's something. :) Good thing I have KB article 63 printed out. I'll create an in house document modeled after it. Off to make lemonade...LOL

donmontalvo or anyone else who has the article would you be able to send it to me? There was an especially helpful comment on that article that included a script to slim down an OS that I haven't been able to find anywhere else.
