Hello Everyone.

When testing out MacOS 10.15 Catalina I noticed that my Kernel Extensions configuration policy fails to apply to these computers. Has anyone else experienced this? We are on the latest version of JAMF Pro and are on the hosted cloud version, hosted by JAMF.

Thanks!

You should be able to look in the device record history at the Management History and see specifically why it's failing to install.

I get the following error.

Install Configuration Profile Approved Kernel Extensions The profile must originate from a user approved MDM server. Yesterday at 6:52 PM Yesterday at 6:52 PM

But MDM is being used and it is user approved. The is the only configuration policy having the issue.

I am having this same issue. I need to be able to enable the VirtualBox Kernel Extension.

If VirtualBox was installed before the KEXT whitelist was, the whitelist won't do anything for that KEXT.
